Our Journey

From Family Kitchen to UK's Favourite Nigerian Cuisine

G&P Kitchen was founded by Omovie Ogheneganre, a professionally trained and certified chef who obtained culinary certification from Oneberg Catering Service, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, in July 2020. Following this professional training, G&P Kitchen was formally established in 2021 and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria. Between 2021 and 2022, G&P Kitchen actively operated in Nigeria, delivering event catering and food services while building a strong reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

In 2022, the founder relocated to the United Kingdom for educational advancement and business expansion. G&P Kitchen is now based in Newcastle upon Tyne, where it continues to develop operations and expand its service offerings. To formalize its presence in the UK market, G&P Kitchen Ltd was officially registered with Companies House on 5th November 2025, marking a key milestone in our transition into an internationally recognised catering business.

Omovie completed professional culinary training at Oneberg Catering Service in Warri, Delta State (July 2020). She founded G&P Kitchen in 2021 and led its early event catering work in Nigeria before relocating to the UK in 2022 to expand the business. Omovie now leads the culinary vision from Newcastle upon Tyne as G&P Kitchen grows its UK presence.
